The place is easy to go, just change to Portliner at Sannomiya JR station and go to Kei Computer Mae station by Portliner. It is recommended to buy the entrance ticket with the Portliner tickets as a package at Sannomiya. The animal kingdom is very...More

Before we entered the gate, luckily we could see an alpaka taking a walk which was born in Japan. I enjoyed seeing diffrent kinds of owls, pengines from South Africa, and other rare animals in Japan. I especially enjoyed feeding a toucan and watching a...More

This animal kingdom is unlike any other zoo. Basically, it allows friendly animals walking freely and interacting with visitors. Everybody, in particular the kids, has a good time there. There are food courts and restaurants and seating areas in the zoo. Shows are good too....More

Kobe Animal Kingdom is a little bit different from most Zoos. while traditional Zoos fence off and cage animals, the design of this Zoo is more focussed on allowing visitors to interact with the animals abit more. As a result there are areas to interact...More

Despite being an adult, me and my husband enjoyed our time here in the Animal Kingdom more than anythinge else. We had the chance to pet many animals and even fed the ducks by hand! Definitely recommended for familes with young kids!

I won't deny this is a giant petting zoo. I will say, there are neko (cat) cafes, dog cafes, and owl cafes all around Japan offering tickets for 2000 yen per person, for 1 hour. You can stay here for the same price or less...More

This place is incredibly interactive which is a unique and wonderful experience. But, a fair few of the animals were not doing so well. Penguins and kangaroos especially had unhealthy fur, most animals didn't have clean water to drink or swim in, and the most...More

Hope this is still in time for you mate... you can buy tickets from train stations in Japan. It includes the rail ticket there and entrance to Animal Kingdom and it works out a little bit cheaper.

No. I went on a rainy day. I consider it one of the best place to go on rainy day. Only those outdoor "ride tasting" are not available, but that's only a very small part of the zoo!
