It was one of the mode of transport for our trip up Mt Rokko Garden Terrace. We bought the ¥1000 Rokkosan Tourist Pass at Umeda’s Hankyu Tourist Centre which is a real good deal. From Hanshin Mikage (HS25) 御影駅station and we took the #16 Kobe City bus which bring us to Rokko Cable Shita station. [We understood that one can... More

this is a rather short ride about 10 mins...autumn foilage was still visible so that was nice. there are car sections that are totally open air, and i preferred this over the enclosed cabins.

Took.the cable car up for a birds eye view of local.highlights. nice excursion but would not recommend it as standalone. Best done in conjunction with other attractions in the area or onward to arima onsen via cable car . Shuttle buses connect cable stations and attractions. Lovely views of countryside and cable car was gorgeous.

If you have time this is a nice excursion. The music box museum is interesting, but a walk in the botanic gardens is very nice. In summer it is a good place to get away from the heat of the city. Take a lunch box and enjoy the tranquility of the mountain.

We came down Mt. Rokko on this beautifully maintained funicular cable car that has been operating for about 75 years. It is very comfortable although there were not enough seats for everyone and some had to stand. It travels down a wooded glen with streams and flowering trees and you catch glimpses of the city as you go down. Very... More

Well-maintained quaint cable cars run very efficiently. There is some imbalance and eerie sounds when it runs, but the level of teh gradient explains it all. Definitely worth the visit.

The cable car is clean and efficient. You get a nice view on the way up to Mt Rokko. The steps may be slightly challenging to the elderly and the physically challenged.

Not so easy to find cable car actually, so when we arrived there, we are a little bit excited to take the cable car, even not so high. On the way in the cable car, we could see some different view. very good for kids to have fun there
