Hiroshima's business area located downtown Hiroshima. There are Sogo department (has bus center its inside), electric stores like Edion, Pacella, Shareo (undergrand shopping street), etc.

Great to feel the life, the vibe of a once destroyed city, yes there is just shops, restaurants and all the different trams but that's the point for me life where brefly there wasn't, great positive vibe.

This is the main area of hiroshima or downtown as it is know, lots of department stores and cafes plus the usual restayrants really nice area to be, much different to other japanese cities, more of a european feel to it, well worth a visit

I don't know if there are luggage lockers at Kamiyachō Shareo, I know that JR Hiroshima Station does, they have 3 sizes available and the Hiroshima Tram connects with JR Hiroshima station. Sorry i cannot be of more help.
