Gorgeous spot in the middle of the city

This park is truly lovely with many monuments scattered throughout. It's a short walk from the atomic dome and the museum and it's a nice way to spend an hour. Highly recommend.

A park built where the centre of Hiroshima once did. The park is elegantly constructed and exceptionally well laid out. It has many informative panels (bi lingual - Japanese and English) and is, understandably, very tranquil. A key view is from in front of the museum, through the memorial of the flame of peace and to the A dome beyond.... More

Beautiful, manicured gardens. Lots of space to walk around. In mid April we had quite a few cherry blossoms in bloom .

The garden is a lovely place to wander. There are so many monuments and memorials to those who lost their lives in 1945 as a result of the A Bomb blast. The gardens are well kept and very easily accessible. They are across the river from the Dome, and incorporate the museum.

The Peace park was a lovely , fairly compact area with Children's monument and memorial hall to visit. Very peaceful and respectful area for reflection.

A big area park to remember... At the beginning of the park there is a museum where you can see pictures and documentations, than a few steps far the memorial with the fire flame and the children's peace monument, at the end close to the river the Atomic bomb Dome. Can I give you my personal opinion about take selfie... More

A lovely well maintained garden/complex to wander around and think about the futility of war. There are several different memorials dotted around the park.

The memorial park is a must if you are visiting the museum or the dome. It has been put together beautifully to allow you to remember those impacted and reflect on the impact of the a-bomb.
