楽しいけど、夏のカラスはすごいアグレッシブです。キリン亡くなって、ムードはちょっと悲しかったです。 Beware of crows. Resident giraffe passed away on 8/13 due to illness and was the oldest living giraffe in Japan at 22 years old.

Visited the zoo during late winter and with sapporo snowfall the park leading to the zoo transformed into a winter wilderness with locals walking thier dog... It's a sight to behold especially those coming from the tropics... Easily accessible via the subway anywhere from sapporo...More

The Polar bear family (3) can be visited in Sapporo, and many types of monkey/gorilla, carved, wolves, even hippo and penguins, this zoo actually is quite big. But I would say please skip the gorillas, they look so depressed.

Nicely laid out zoo with all kinds of animals and .. its actually free for kids ..the giraffe exhibit was particularly nice and do not forget the play area at the west end
