You cannot go inside the pagoda, so there really isn't much to do besides take a picture at the pagoda and then view West Lake below. But, it is a good workout, and worthwhile if you are already at West Lake.

The old pagoda fell down in 1924 so this is a modern reconstruction, but it is associated with interesting legends, there is some good art work (wood carving) inside, and the view from the top is quite spectacular. It is very crowded though, so going in the early morning (if you can) would be a good idea.

This was a workout but the views from the top are rewarding! It was less crowded than the other tourist sites and is very picturesque.

It's looks fantastic during the evening. And it a must visit for the unique design it embodies within itself. On the banks of the west lake; it is superbly placed.

The pagoda of the six harmonies is definitely worth a visit. The Pagoda itself is beautiful and the views over the west lake and surrounding areas that can be seen from the top of the pagoda are stunning.

This sturdy wooden, stone and terra cotta structure has survived down through the ages. It is sparsely adorned with flora and fauna dear to the traditional culture of the region. We were very fortunate to have a young, energetic and very knowledgeable tour guide, Leaf, plan our visit so that we avoided both the crowds and any overly zealous attendants.... More

A must visit if you happen to be around Westlake. Mesmerized by its beauty and history. Best to visit on a clear day where you get to bask at the ambience.
