spring will be better

our guide told us this causeway is one of the most beautiful view in Hangzhou. We visited it during the Chinese new year and felt like spring must be with better view.

This pretty area of Hanghzou is a must see. The bridges and the waterways are so captivating & the tranquility replicates what olden day China must have been aiming for when they were constructed many centuries ago. A photographer's dream, and a very pleasant walk.

This causeway connects the north to the south of West Lake, connecting to the chenghuang pagoda in the south and the major tourist areas in the north. The su causeway also connects to various scenic footpaths in the west of the lake and the hotels at this end which was handy for us as we stayed at the Lotus Glade... More

Imagine a super long bridge cutting across the beautiful west lake! This place makes for some beautiful photographs. You'll be sure to spend a couple of hours here!

Walking on Su Di is a must near West Lake. It is around 3km from one end to the other but it is worth the time to stroll because the surrounding trees and garden is very soothing.

We walked on most of the causeway at the West Lakes, this is one of the most picturesque one, you get the views of both side of the lakes. Overlooking at the distance is the city views. No cars can get through except for the electric cars for tourists.

A wonderful place to view and enjoy the pleasures of the West lake. However the crowds can be overwhelming so if you enjoy your personal space or are claustrophobic avoid at all costs. There are a few tourist attractions to visit as you stroll the Causeway the most important being the Chinese Seal Engravers Society.

Took a gondola row boat from Hubin / Musical Fountain across West Lake through to Su Causeway. Very relaxing and peaceful. One can easily forget that they are in the middle of big city Hangzhou. Try the gondola ride atleast once. Su Causeway provides the ideal (scenic, tranquil) distraction for those seeking fitness but don't have the discipline. West Lake... More

It is just on the lake. And it is a most important part of the lake. It is a long way to walk. But in a good day, it is a very nice walk. We walked all the way and it is enjoyable. We have much to see. There are lot of stories happened here, But it is not easy... More
