At first, great temple, but there are a lot of them...the further back I explored the more impressive the design with great temple interior in the main building. Going back further, up some stairs, a smaller temple filled with pilgrims (?) chanting - enchanting. Worshippers...More

It is a big temple on a hillside, near the famous Green Lake. Its structure is the usual line of pavillions. The reliefs, carved wood and paintings are well kept and can keep you enchanted for hours.

Perhaps it was due to the cold temperature (5 degrees Celsius), the temple was rather quiet. The compound was not very big. But the architecture was stunning. It withstood centuries. There was chanting which calms the mind. Toilet is Available.

A friend had recommended that we stop by and we're glad he did. The temple is very interesting with lots to see. Plan to spend about an hour there.

While other reviewers spoke of crowds, I found none. I suspect the fact that the lake is empty might deter some. However, the lack of crowds emphasized the spirituality of the place. While not very big it is most interesting and we'll maintained.

The airport is about 30~60 minutes away from the city and traffic there is really unpredictable and can really bad if you're caught. I think if you would still like to leave the airport to take a breather, go to Green Lake... More
