The zoo reflects the general attitude of the China to animal welfare. It is horrible - from the sad caged animals to the mobs of noisy tourists to the litter to the tourists throwing human food and other objects at the animals.

Hi, after quick search, in Sichuan, nearby province, they have blossoming festivities in April. I don't know about weather there, but I doubt it will be blossoming. Hope that helped.
