The wall, now renovated, encircles the whole of the inner city. Careful hiring a bicycle: you are not allowed to take one cyclea all the way around; you have to change to a different cycle and company :-(
A good end to a Day at the Terracotta warriors is to cycle along the top of the old city wall, fun, plenty of ice creams availble if its Hot, It was in June.
We took a bike ride around half of the city wall as it was very hot in mid July. Great sights and fun family activity! They even had bicycles built for two!
A visit here will be worthwhile. I was surprised how well-maintained the location is. HOWEVER, be prepared for scorching temps in July and masses of other visitors. There are stairs and it is not easy to visit for everybody.
