We loved hearing about the history of Art in China. Our guide, also named Mandy, was very informative and made us very curious. We very much enjoyed our calligraphy lesson and the learning about the process. We were not pressed to purchase art work. Unfortunately the paper cutting teacher was not at the gallery on the day of our visit.... More

I brought a tourist to the museum two days ago! In fact, she is a Japanese female who gets married with a Chinese husband! On the way of going back, she told me that this trip is really worthwhile even she came alone this time! This experience helps her to know more about her husband's country! What's more, the process... More

My team today consists of a small family with four people! They told me that they really had a great time with the guide there who was an English teacher before actually. They appreciated her patience and also the marvelous exhibition in the biggest museum in Xi'an!

I came to visit the museum yesterday afternoon, with my friends. The guide there is cool, humorous and warm-hearted. We know a lot about Chinese culture and art. At end we also practiced Chinese calligraphy. Amazing! I plan to learn Chinese when I go back to Cuba. Cool! A wonderful place to spend one or two hours in Xi'an!

I love this cute museum. Never thought it was such an interesting place to enjoy Chinese art. Came here with a nice British couple, they especially loved the propaganda paintings of the cultural revolution. Finally they even bought a big nice one with a photo of Chairman Mao on it!

We visited the art museum last week with a group of other people, and enjoyed a highly informative tour by one of their guides. The museum is home to a wide variety of art styles spanning many eras, and as well as being guided through the museum, we had the opportunity to take part in a calligraphy session which was... More

I'm not an art-man, but I'm still attracted to this small museum through the museum guide's wonderful representation of all the art works here. Comfortable place to learn some Chinese art for an hour spare time.

I went with a few friends, two couples with four kids. They said that it is the highlight of their Chinese trip. Folk arts presentation, painting explanation, and calligraphy practice…they have lots of fun there. Kids especially love it. I also practice calligraphy as well, although I am not good at all. Very peaceful place. Highly recommended!

Interesting Chinese art. Took a group of high school students there n stayed for like a hour. Have heard of this little museum before from others who had been there too, I wanna say none of us felt disappointed. Worth going there when u have an hour free time n learn some Chinese calligraphy.
