I know this mosque is very important because it is the oldest in China but as a non-Muslim it is not welcoming. Churches allow visitors to enter but this mosque is not open for non-muslims. You can see the minaret peeking out over the fence and it is near the Ximenkou metro stop and Guangxiao Temple so it is easy... More

The oldest mosque in Guangzhou...there is a decent hotel Jia Mei Hotel adjacent to this Mosque and next to the Jia Mei Hotel is a halal restaurant, Abi Waqqas Restaurant, located at Guanta Lu (Road) which is highly recommended. Go for its Mutton Briyani and Mutton Curry.

You go back in time when visiting this mosque. It is small and not so spectacular if you have seen the greatest of the world. Would recommend if you have spare time but it is not a must see

Despite that, it's fascinating to see how this mosque became fully-packed with local and foreign Muslims who gathered... More

On one of the several entrance streets, there are many food stalls selling traditional items. The lamb, whose aroma and succulent appearance does entice, tends to be tough with gristle.... More
