Went to the area as one of the stops of the sightseeing bus toor.

Place is massive and it is a must visit spot in Medinah to witness the place of the battlefield of Uhud battle and make sublimation to the martyrs of the battle and master of martyrs Sayedna Hamza.

Lots of shopping stalls to buy dates and many other stuff.

Have a short climb on top of the archers's mount and have a feel of the battlefield

Try to hike up the mountain and remember where prophet Muhammed pbuh hid after being hurt.

A wholy place all over with lots of history.

How true are the words of Prophet Muhammad (Pbut) for the moment I set eyes upon beloved Mount Uhud until I left never has a mountain exuberated so much love and warmth. I was honoured that my hotel was close to Mount Uhud that I saw them everyday. My heart would fill with joy at seeing them, I almost felt like they are calling me to gather them into my arms such is the aura of this blessed Mount. The history of the Battle of Uhud and the role of this Mount is a must visit. There is a Mosque where Prophet Muhammad (pbut’s) camp was stationed and I was lucky to pray there. The resting place of the martyrs of Uhud is also close by. 70 brave martyrs including the Prophet (pbut’s) dear uncle Hamza bin Abdul Mutallib (RA) are laid to rest there and I payed my family and my respects and fathiha. My heart and eyes long to see beloved Mount Uhud again, Insha’Allah we will not have to wait long. Beloved Uhud I love you because you love me✨

It is a mountain in north of Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is 1,077 m high. It was the site of the second battle between Muslim and Meccan forces - Muslims say: A Mount that the Prophet Loved

People who died (Shuhada) at this place, because of some people not following the orders of a leader (who is supposed to be visionary person). All those are laying here in their graves. The area is walled and the small mountain is also present here. You msut come and see the place and tell the whole story of War of Uhd. Better read the story before coming to this place as you will feel the place more.

Between the hills is the final abode of the great companions of the Noble Prophet of Islam, including his uncle Hamzah. Never cease to be amazed at the bravery and loyalty of those men. The site used to be way off the city but Madina has expanded and before you know it you are there. It used to be full of natives who would want to guide visitors through the rites and who tell stories of what happened during the campaign. There are now volunteers, mainly students who give proper guidance, though there are still a few of the older stock. Modernity is catching up with the local traders though aged traders are still seen selling traditional artifacts. Good atmosphere generally.
