A good place to come as part of the tourist trail to get a birds eye view of the city. It seems to be a favourite with locals as well. High glazed screens stop you being buffetted too much by the wind.

A good way to start sightseeing in Yekaterinburg is to go to the Visotsky Business Center, a skyscraper in the corner of Malyshev and Karl-Liebknecht streets, which was opened in 2011. It used to be the city's tallest building for a few years, but has been surpassed by 24m with the completion of the 213m tall Iset Tower four years later. Once at the Visotsky Tower one buys a ticket for 350 RUB, which allows one to take a rather small elevator up to the 52 floor at an altitude of 186m. At the back of the building is a bronze sculpture of him and his wife Marina Vlady, the French actress of Russian origin.…

Highly recommend a visit if you’re in Yekaterinburg, a great way to get a view over a really unique city.…

We visited the Vysotski museum. Which is interesting - but primarily in Russian. However the entrance ticket included a visit to the 52. floor of the building and it is a breathtaking view not to be missed
