Nice interior with a lot of marble stone on the walls.. Good experience to see it if you are staying in Park Inn which is next to it.

This has the potential to be a grandiose wonderful train station but until a few signs are put up to help people navigate the construction, it is a pretty frustrating place to arrive at or leave from. It has huge potential but please invest a few hours in some basic signs. The signs can be in Egyptian for all I... More

Impressive large but clean railway station, rumoured to be the largest in Russia. We arrived on the Golden Eagle Trans Siberian and spent about five hours touring the city. A local guide told us that the original station, and the birth of the Trans Siberian, is actually a smaller building next to the main building. Impressive architecture and well worth... More

I read that this was the largest railway station in Russia. I don't know. I saw a large railway station in Moscow. And a large one in St. Petersburg. But I didn't actually measure any of them, so I don't know.

I have not entered the building, but you may foresee a stop outside to take a nice shot of this nice architecture.

Novosibirsk is the capital of Siberia and somewhere you are unlikely to get to unless you are en route to somewhere else. However, it was an interesting place to visit and the guide I had made what is quite an ordinary city seem quite extraordinary: it is the site of where the Trans Siberian railway was conceived; founded by the... This railway station was beautiful, it was grand and had beautiful chandeliers. We are travelling on the Trans Siberian Rail, and found the railway very beautiful. Worth the stop.

Went to see the train station even though we had flown to Novosibirsk. It was lovely for a train station.

I stopped by here in October 2014 while on the Trans Siberian Railway, and the facilities in the Novosibirsk Railway station were great. Clean showers and toilets, as well as different shops to buy souvenirs and snacks. I'm glad that the train stopped for a while at this particular station.
