This is one of the oldest Kremlin's in Russia and within walking distance to the monastery, museum and bone carving display. An ideal place to visit especially if staying in Gostiny Dvor hotel which is part of Kremlin.

The only stone Kremlin in Siberia, a unique example of Siberian architecture. Temples and monasteries create a primitive atmosphere of ancient Russia.

There are frequent trains from Yekaterinburg or Tyumen and back that let you make the side trip in 24 hours or less. Although the Kremlin itself was closed the surrounding areas allow you to get the sense of its majesty. Looking up at it from...More

Kremlin is not very big, but picturesque. Expositions in the Governor's Palace Museum and in the Jail Castle are very informative. St. Sophia Assumption Cathedral has beautiful meb choir.

What a beautiful experience. We were fortunate enough to enter on a day that a mass baptism was taking place. The Kremlin was a live with babies, family, and candles. Very serene and spiritual visit.

We visited the kremlin on a sunny Sunday and it looked really beautiful with its blue and golden domes. The view of the low quarter behind the kremlin is also very pretty. There's a square in front of it with souvenir and food stalls.
