The canals and bridges were inspired by Amsterdam and they wanted to recreate them in St. Petersburg. The "view" from underneath these bridges gives you a different perspective. The different "color" bridges have an interesting history and worth seeing.

Well it's good that the bridges are coloured, it helps navigate the city. But this is a nice bridge in a lovely city. Go visit

Not a special bridge in itself but together with the countless others that cross the canals it creates a Venice-like effect which is very pleasant.
