If you want something sweet or a sandwich or some bread or anything really, stop by this lovely old place. I got in the habit of buying a praline éclair on my way back to the hotel each day. Heaven! Also found time to experiment...More

It’s kitch! It’s too much! It’s funny! It’s a mixture of French and Russian. No class yet an attempt to be lush. We sat down under the pineapple and took in the atmosphere because it is rather different. I ordered a hot chocolate but got...More

I'm not sure where Trip Advisor got their name for this place, but it's real name is Kupetz Eliseevs Food Hall. It's part of a beautiful Art Nouveau building, a rarity in architecturally-drab St Petersburg. The food hall includes 7 distinct areas: a French patisserie,...More

We popped in not only for coffee and a cake, but also to view this beautiful Art Nouveau building. Definitely worth a visit; the food and gifts for sale are beautifully displayed, however prices are high- the most expensive coffee we had in Russia.

Lovely historic cafe, shop and restaurant. The array of cakes is terrific and the surroundings and service excellent.

Stopped here as part of a tour and they have a wide selection of candy, meats, and cheeses, along with alcohol and a coffee shop. Not sure this is worth a separate visit but a nice place to stop.

Wonderful experience - very expensive (£12 for two cups of tea) but the ambience and opulence more than make up for it.

Hardly typical of a Russian foodstore but a must see along Nevsky Prospect! The opulence goes with so much other opulence in St P
