Beautiful open area with pillar in the middle and place to relax , this is agreat location in the middle of many attractions .They had an Army Show with tanks and artillery display was interesting to watch

Excellent place for photo's but be wary off the fancy dress people walking around trying to get you to take there pictures. This is a good rouse for pickpockets so be on your guard

The Palace Square of St. Petersburg is very very large and extremely beautiful. You can see it starting from different points. Coming through Bolshaya Morskaya street the sudden approach of the Winter Palace is just amazing!
