This is the home of an extremely well connected family, the interior shows the wealth that comes with that connection. they were also involved with the murder of Rasputin as is noted in the tour of the palace.

This is one of the best palace in the World, the architectural design was superb. You can never be tired of watching and appreciating the shape and some curve around this place. Don’t leave St. Petersburg without visiting this palace

Probably the best private palace in Peterborough. If your time in town is little bit limited, I would suggest you to visit only this palace from all, one can find in Peterborough. But, be prepared, that there are restoration works outside the building. So, you...More

Anyone that has visited Russia knows how amazing the history of the country can be, but so many of the palaces are swamped with visitors and really only show the side of Russia the royals participated in which is to say the least, overtly extravagant....More

Stunning rooms & a very interesting history. They have recreated a 'Rasputin Room' in the basement as this is the place he was killed. The private theatre is beautiful & well worth a look.

Be stunned by the wealth and sumptuous living of the elite under the tsars. A private theater, art, gold leaf everywhere, and a murder - Rasputin of course. They have it re-enacted in a way. Best to go with a guide who can explain everything....More

Generally regarded as one of the most beautiful palaces in the city. It was here that Rasputin was murdered.

An original Palace, not recreated, made famous as the residence of the wealthy Yusupov Family and the ill fated Rasputin assassination. Nicely appointed private residence of the Yusupov family. Kept mostly intact after the October Revolution. Beautifully appointed rooms with family keepsakes and photos. The...More

Versailles it's not, but it does have an interesting history and the best private theater I have ever seem. This is the place where Gregory Rasputin was poisoned, shot, then thrown into the Moika river.
