about 20 mins walk after the winter palace along lovely avenues. the queue was long so we didn't actually go in . but from the exteriors too one could appreciate this lovely Russian Japan war destroyer

Spanned 2 centuries of warship progress, beautifully restored. Fought in 3 wars and helped start a revolution. Docked right in old part of town. Also close to the Artillery museum.

This is an old WW 1 cruiser ship that fought in WW 2 as well. drove around the outside via a tourist boat and learned its history.. Very well crafted. Glad to see its still maintained.

This fine old cruiser dating back to the WW1 is a fine example of Russian ship building, it is also the ship that fired a blank shell to indicate the start of the Russian civil uprising.

For any military history enthusiast, the Aurora is worth visiting. You get to walk on deck (most of it) and have access to the museum found on the lower level. This will cost about 11.5USD for tourists and sbout 6.5 USD for students.

if you got a boat trip in Saint Petersburg, they will definitely show you this battleship it is huge and worth seeing it i did not have the chance to enter it
