It is a beautiful monument. Right in the heart of the city, close to the central square. It was originally a convent and later converted into a cathedral and is used by the locals for service.

This is where Catherine the Great build a boarding school and cathedral for girls starting at the age of 10 to come and learn. They were taught about math and science.

This convent is not in central St P but is worth seeing if you can.Its like a Wedgwood plate turned into a building quite apart from its revolutionary links
