Spent 3.5 hours here and only saw a part of it. If art is your interest you need to allow a whole day! The buildings themselves, architecture and decor are an amazing sight even if you are not interested in the paintings and sculpture.

This is a big museum. Although not the biggest one in the world, still with many items worth seeing. The interiors of the building itself are already art pieces on their own.

The place is so massive, which means if you plan to see everything, it will take a couple days. You can also simply see what you are going to see in a certain amount of time. There are tours that only visit the greatest highlights....More

If you have a choice, spend more than a few hours here, spread over more than one day. There is so much to see and many paintings to linger over. Crowds of cruise passengers can also be a problem. Think about a visit later in...More
