The oldest theatre in St Petersburg; just beautiful! Sleeping beauty was beautifully done and I loved the flowy, romantic costumes. What a priviledge to see the best ballet in the world in a lovely venue.

This was one of the best ballet performances my wife and I have seen. Even the 9 year old was captivated and sitting forward in her seat, after being so hesitant at the beginning. Flawless performance by exceptionally gifted artist!

Russia has such a long history of ballet or opera. If you can find the tickets for Swan lake, go see it. If not, whatever is on the repertoire. During the break the Theater cafe serves delicious cake, sandwiches and drinks. Worth every rubble spent.
