nice museum, a submarine in a very good condition giving a very good view in subsea life and fight during 2nd WW, nice and helpful service staff, interesting place at Vasilieostrovskij Island, slightly far away from the Island centre (nice and log walk back)

The admission charge was 500 RU per person with no additional charges for using a camera. The day we were at the museum there were only a few visitors. As a military history buff with a passion for researching submarines as a weapon of war...More

This was a fascinating museum. We were able to use our guide to translate the submarine commander's information about the sub. Understanding how these men lived during the times these subs were used was really interesting.
