Worth to visit when in Murmansk. Big part of the local history. The location is beautiful and the monument is massive.

The sight of Alyosha Monument is mesmerising. Its a huge statute and view of the Kola bay from the hilltop is spectacular. Its a must visit monument in Murmansk.

That just about says it all, the monument is huge and memorialisers Soviet defenders from the second war. Well worth the short visit for the view as well.

The statue is very big. You can get to it by walking about 1km up to the top of the mountain, it's not very far. There's also a burning fire that never extinguishes.

It’s impressive for its dimension but this is it. There not much to see around it apart from the statue. We had fun flying the drone around it and took stunning videos. Anyway, it’s one of the most important monument in the city
