Worth popping to have a look it is near the submarine museum so can be easily fitted in as part of a walk round the city.

This small arch was quite pretty, and located in a fairly photogenic part of the city with a number of sights near by (including a small church nearby where we actually saw someone ringing the bell). Definitely worth a visit.

Even if it has been rebuilt some 10 years ago it's still symbol of the city and the sorrounding little park give the right atmosphere to the monument

This arch is in the small park just above the Submarine museum and it's on Svetlanskaya St so you're bound to walk past it at some point. It's worth stopping to look at it. The park it's in is a good shady spot too.

It is well preserved, and a bonus there is a public toilet just down the path- can't beat that when out and around

We wandered into this serene part of town after we enjoyed the funicular ride down the steep hill. This Arch is a typical golden colourful Russian structure facing the bay. That makes it a beautiful photo opportunity. The arch is also a good shelter from...More

This is a beautiful land mark. The area around it was very pleasant and nice to walk to. I wish it had been the original and not a reconstruction.

It is interesting for history fanciers, because connected with the history of Imperial Russia. But sadness that it is a copy, because the original is destroyed in the USSR.
