The Yaroslavl Art Museum (YaAM) is the biggest art museum in Russian provinces. It is the only museum specializing in arts in the Yaroslavl Region. The YaAM is the winner of the first competition Window on Russia. The YaAM’s collection contains over 75,000 works of painting, drawing, decorative arts, applied arts, sculpture and numismatics.

The restored mansion gives you a glimpse into the life of an earlier era. The furnishings were impressive. Attendants were dressed in period costumes giving it a cheesy feeling.

A collection of art work, furniture, music led by "govenor's daughters" in costume. A dance performance took place including partners from the audience.
