As an avid Karl Marx lover, I just had to visit this monument. It’s the last standing Karl Marx monument in Russia. I don’t see any reason why anyone would want to remove it and why should they remove it.

This is an ordinary statue of Karl Marx. The statue is located in Teatralnaya square, just opposite the Bolshoi theater.

This is a large statue of Karl Marx located in Teatralnaya Square not too fare from the Bolshoi Theatre. If you're in the vicinity or have a particular fascination with Marx then this may be worth a quick look.

We came across this monument by accident while exploring the city centre. Definitely worth a visit for a photo opportunity. We had a tour guide who commented that Marx looks a bit grouchy, probably because “we messed it up” on implementing communism in the USSR....More

This is an interesting and massive statue. It is worth the time to see Moscow's last Karl Marx monument. I understand there is some talk of replacing it which I hope doesn't happen. Karl Marx has earned his spot in history. It is inscribed, "Proletariat...More

A remembrance of what the Soviet Era was. This is "funny" to see a lot of USSR symbol still stands. Karl Marx UD one of them with a lot of red cross and communist symbol

This monument is truly amazing and inspiring. The shear size of it is spectacular and the attention to detail is truly magnificent. The history behind Marx while controversial is deserving of this type of attention. This monument is worth the visit to Moscow and in...More
