Just a statue!
Feb. 2020
Yes, it is just a statue! Part of Russian history! Let's remember. I am not sure that the whole park is accociated with Lenin as the project started back in 1935 and open in 1939 (Lenin died on 21.1.1924) but probably there was a reason to keep it there!

Visited VDKNh today and the place is great
Dec. 2019 • Couples
At the end of the path between the entrance arches and the building boasting the insignia of the URSS this statue very much alike many of Lenin in Moscow stands undisputed in this marvelous stage.

All VDKNh main road leading to the fountain is wonderfully decorated. Worth visiting in this cold weather.

The skating rink is still not open but looks like it will in a few days.

Very near the Cosmonautics Museum, this park was built in Soviet times to represent the different areas of the USSR.

Each region has a pavilion, built in the national style. The centre of the park is lined with fountains and waterworks and there are grand arches and monuments abounding. It is very picturesque in places. Further into the park is a scale model/prototype of the Buran space shuttle that was used in the building of the Soviet shuttle program. Other rockets and airplanes have been placed on display here as well.

Visiting the park is a must...
Jul. 2019 • Couples
but I'm not so into indulging statues of Lenin, regardless of their size or complexity.

Trust me, there are so many other things to see here, for free, that it is most certainly worth a couple of hours.

So much history! One of must visits when in Moscow.

Unbelievably tall and powerful, realistically speaking and emotionally

Just another Lenin but maybe there is something more about this one ...

There are plenty of Lenin's statues all over the Russia - not worshipped as they were during Soviet times but left untouched even after communism collapsed there. Lenin is still considered as a very important figure in the history of Russia and maybe this particular place justifies such approach, as it is located in the middle of the "exhibition of achievements" which was built and opened in 1939 (15 years after Lenin's death) to emphasize that his ideas "work".
Of course, it was all about propaganda and nobody dared to present the real bill for Lenin's ideas - the number of victims of October Revolution, Civil War and the first years of building the communism in Russia.
Anyway, the Lenin's statue still looks nice, especially during the sunny days ...

Great Historic Attraction
Jul. 2018 • Solo
Lenin's Statues are everywhere in Russia, but this got more splendor due to its Soviet-Design ambience with lots of other historical monuments and attractions all around the place. It's a great choice to have a long walk there, ending up with the entertaining Museums of VDNKH and the Aquarium Park.

Lenin all the way

Lenin Statue at VDNKh – Now there’s nothing unusual about it. When in Moscow there is no way you can miss Lenin-The Great’s statue. VDNKh stands for Vystavka Dostizheniy Narodnogo Khozyaystva which is an Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy. It is a permanent general purpose trade show and amusement park in Moscow, Russia. Between 1991 and 2014 it was also called the All-Russia Exhibition Centre.

The statue of Lenin is located in a soviet-style park constructed in the 30's. If you happen to be here during sunset you will certainly have some amazing Kodak moments to capture. As for me I was here in the freezing months of January 2017 and hence was greeted by incessant rainfall and snow – Which I certainly loved from the bottom of my heart.

Lenin all over

The statue is located in a soviet-style park constructed in the 30's. What I really loved about the statue of Lenin is that behind him, you have a pretty nice view of the main pavillion. It's stunning!
