Just go for this hidden gem if you like Leo Tolstoy's works. This is the house he was living in Moscow with his wife and daughters.

Excellent museum dedicated to the writer with his full life story and many books and writings from Leo. There is also a café and a library as part of the complex.

We loved seeing this house-museum! In the large salon, Tolstoy had visitors such as Rachmaninov, Repin, and Rimsky Korsakov. Many personal objects are preserved and there is information in Russian and English.
