The highlight of the museum is the panorama Borodino created by Russian battle-painter Franz Roubaud in 1912. The museum exposition is dedicated to the Russian victory over Napoleon's Great Army in 1812.

Your will find this 360 degrees panoramic painting a 10 minutes walk from the metro station. Meticulously painted, this panorama shows the decisive battle with Napoleon's army. Also a few paintings and other items to admire. Open till 6 pm, closed on Friday.

While the story, like most wars, is a sad story, it is delivered in very level headed way. The panorama on the top floor displaying a 360 view of the battle with appropriate props.
