Outside looks stunning. From the inside nothing special apart from frescos. The lady in the souvenirs very bored and not interested even to say thank you.

This is the largest appearing church on the grounds of the kremlin. The frescoes were being restored while we were there so one wall was not visible but the altar area is visible and lovely. Would be sure to see on your kremlin tour -...More

There’s a risk of overdosing on Cathedrals when touring Moscow but this one is surely one you shouldn’t miss.

Located on the Kremlin’s main square, this cathedral was used as the royal chapel. No pictures can be taken here. It was built in 1484 and the whole interior is painted with frescoes. A must see while in Moscow.

This cathedral was the private church of the Russian Czars and yet it is so well kept and it is a privilege to observe it!

These churches are different than the normal Catholic churches you normally see, mostly because they are not Catholic :-) - These are more for Icon's and saints where an individual pray to the sait/icon they hope can help them.
