Several very interesting frescoes and icons. I particularly liked the royal altar doors, the "Miracle of the Robe of Holy Virgin during the Siege of Constantinople," and the intricately carved Northern portal.

Kind of non- descriptive compared to the other churches in Cathedral Square. It was constructed in 1484-85 and is part of a complex of domestic churches of Russian tsars. Other more interesting churches to view if you run out of time, skip it.

Wooden sculptures in this museum are really very interesting, small rooms but worth a visit. Steep steps to get in so be careful. The Crucifixion has so much detail you can stand there for ages just looking at it.

Wow. On Cathedral Square and only one review before me! Why is that? For the obvious reason, Few enter and fewer like. The outside is not much to look at, and the inside has nothing much to see. Probably not worth the time to look...More
