Clashing sharply with the old architectures of its neighbors in the Kremlin complex, this sterile-looking glass and concrete building - once a government edifice - now hosts ballets and rock artist performances.

The Kremlin is very big with so many different buildings. If you do not have a lot of time then go to the ticket office early as they say it opens at 10am but opened at 9:30am on the day of my visit. Get the map and choose the places you wish to visit. You could spend all day here... More

My wife and I went to see a "symphony orchestra plays rock" concert here, which was just delightful. The palace itself is fairly modern, 1960's Soviet construction, and is huge, with floor after floor, with the buffets being on the top floor. We walked around and took pictures of the Kremlin from a vantage point I had not experienced before.... More

We really enjoyed attending Mozart's Magic Flute ballet at the State Kremlin Palace. While it wasn't the same as going to the Bolshoi Theatre, the ballet was good and the costumes were fantastic. The price is very reasonable and we were able to sit on the 8th row with one weeks notice. It's also inside the Kremlin and there are... More

Most beautiful place kept in a pristine state. Guards making sure you stick to the paths. Lovely gardens. Not what I thought at all. Glad we had a guide to explain things to us. Worth a visit.

Just everything so USSRish (past) and so very intriging. We were invited to a reception hosted by the Flight Safety Foundation. What a reception, what a night - drinks and food flowed. We were entertained by the top Operatic Singer of Russia and top dancers. I had a great night with new friends and old ones. Parts of the Kremlin... More

Great Kremlin Palace is a popular venue for concerts, ballets and other cultural happenings. You can get a deal on the tickets and pay very little for an interesting spectacle, but it's not one of the favourite theatres I go to. The reason is that it's simply too huge, queues everywhere and if you don't get the most expensive tickets,... More

A huge huge place with a large stage and seating capacity in excess of 4-5 thousand people. We saw the premier of a new ballet and the setting was magical. The live orchestra played extremely delightful music to complement the whole work put in by the artists. All for 18$ per person..!! Compared to the Bolshoi...its a steal. Here people... More

The theatre is well planned and the acoustics are great, if watching a live performance. I have seen many. I went to the ballet on Thursday and sadly the music was recorded, by my estimation on an old cassette tape that was played through speakers that had to have been there since Brezhnev was last speaking to the supreme soviet.... Definitely check out the performances at the State Kremlin Palace. We sat in the Dress Circle and enjoyed The Kremlin State Ballet Theatre performing Sleeping Beauty ballet for about $17.50 per person. The whole place is HUGE, HUGE, HUGE! The stage coverS twice as much depth and width as other stages. Their Kremlin State Orchestra played the score beautifully, and... More
