When in Moscow you have to see the Kremlin.....which is why there are queues and hordes of people there. Mr Putin manages to have some privacy by keeping people from crossing the road to his section - it's nice of him to let in these hordes of tourists.............

First off, be prepared for lots and lots of security. Try to leave your coat back at your hotel, or find a coat room. Backpacks are definitely not allowed, and they do have a baggage check for that, next to some of the smelliest public toilets ever. Do not leave the paths or step off the sidewalks into any streets.... More

Until now, Kremlin was for me a synonym for the place from where Russian #1 rules. However, our guide very nicely explained us the history place, its numerous churches, and its logic. Very interesting, exciting and beautiful indeed (well, that is what you expact from a Russian showcase anyway ; -) The -1 from me goes to the guards present... More

A visit to Moscow Kremlin will give you a brief insight into Russia political history. This is also where Putin's office is located hence you can see tight security and men in uniform everywhere. But they are actually very friendly and helpful. As anywhere in Russia signage are in Russian so for 1st time visitor make sure you go with... More

Went Moscow for a fee days for the recent man united game vs cska Moscow! This was within walking distant of our hotel! Moscow has some really stunning architecture! Some of the buildings really are breathtaking! Would highly recommend a visit to the Kremlin purely for sightseeing and pictures!

This place has a great historical importance in Russia. If one is interested in history and that too about churchs, than should visit this place. Hire a guide for better understanding.

Extraordinary Palace. I was lucky enough to visit the Kremlin together with one of the former US ambasador to Russia (during the Elstine erea), and as such was then able to go through several rooms not meant for public view, which was absolutly outstanding. Together with the ambasador we were admited into the main reception hall overlooking Moscow wich was... More

The Kremlin is not just a building but an area containing among other things Cathedrals and the Armoury, an interesting museum with displays of Faberge Easter eggs and many other items from time of the Tsars. A great art collection. It is right in the heart of Moscow next to Red Square.

No obvious signs in the area to point one to the ticket counter. Difficult to figure out what you need to buy tickets to and what the tickets get you into, and when I was there, no counters selling armory tickets were open. Bizarre. So, the Cathedral area is nice but really nothing fantastic, and the Cathedrals are not exceptionally... More

Apart from the building exteriors I didn't find too much of interest within the complex, having said that there were huge crowds with occasionally over zealous soldiers directing operations.
