The complex has churches, excavation sites and other historic monuments and buildings. Enjoyed the walk in the park and in particular the church is very beautiful. It's a must visit in Moscow .

Having read the list of UNESCO sites in Moscow, I found this accessible attraction very interesting though it is not among the top must sees. Just a 10 minutes walk from the Kolomenskaya metro station (turn on your phone GPS) you'll come to this ancient royal country seat founded in the 14C. You'll come across the back gate, the Kazan... This place is one of very few in Moscow that is interesting in winter time. If you have luck you may visit traditional "Winter Good Bye" celebration in a Sunday before the Great fast (Russian Orthodoxal Church) in February-March of each year. A lot of local people with different attractions and foods. Before the visit this place surf the Internet... More

Quite a big park outside of Moscow containing a lot of historic buildings, some even brought in from Siberia. The church is the most beautiful and well worth a visit - quite strange architecture, but very neat. There are great river views from the park as well.

This slightly out-of-the-way attraction is worth a two-hour visit if you have the time. From the metro check the metro map; the park is just off the edge but visible on the map. Then ask someone to point out the entrance. Pleasant rolling hills down to the river, old churches, etc. Very nice.

... to take a long walk, calm and meditate. A couple of churches you will meet on your way will definitely help you to achieve this. A short 10 min walk away from the metro station.

I really like this place. It's very close to my work. Few steps from Kashirskaya or Kolomenskaya stations. I like Kashirskaya entrance more because you get straightly to the park. You should go toward antique wooden building (king's summer residence). It's very beautiful in spring and in autumn because of large apple gardens. Beautiful flowers in spring and lot of... More
