A Roman Catholic church in the city that has practiced religious freedom since the 16th century. Beautiful interior and the chuch is still active and open to visitors. It satnds in a large plaza with the Michael Corvinus statue close by.

St. Michael's is the City's most important landmark and a bastion of Roman Catholicism. Imagine my surprise to find out that for 150 years it was in the hands of radical Unitarians! It is Gothic and atmospheric inside with impressive stained glass windows and altar.

A lovely large cathedral with some wonderful details. Try to go during a service to hear the organ and to watch the singing (lyrics are projected on a big screen),
