Since the very start, this place had been the first choice of getting together and priceless memories to live by. It's safe, clean, and above all....free! Get on and bring the entire family and friends. Bucket list. Added!

I cant say that the place are poorly maintained because the park is clean except for those plastics floating on the water. Great for morning jog and walk, exercise, etc. Or you can just want to sit in the bench and relax...

Explored the park as part of my tour of the N.O. Provincial Government Building. My guide told me of the significance of the two gold statues of Caribou, one with a woman, another with a naked man. The Lagoon was large and needed some significant maintenance to return it to its former glory.

The Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol Building and Lagoon Park is not always part of the tourist's bucket list for Bacolod City. This destination should be included in the itinerary so the visitor can admire a major work of the great Filipino architect Juan Arellano plus National Artist for Sculpture Guillermo Tolentino's distinct sculptures depicting two water buffaloes with a native... One of unique ways to see the splendid city of Bacolod is to visit the Negros Occidental Capitol Park and Lagoon. It is located along Lacson St., and is considered as the Kilometer Zero

The lagoon itself plus the capitol at the back is enough as a must see place in Bacolod and the place is clean to stroll around and take pictures.

I like to see water, that is my taste. So if you share the same, it would be nice to go and enjoy a walk around the lake, or even set and watch people walking.
