Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This towee is at the corner near SM city shopping mall. The tower overlooks bacolod port and sea with panoramic view. It's physically demanding climbing upto the top. In the peefect day, the sight csn be far beyond adjacent island.

A 7 story tower commemorating the Papal visit of 1981. The tower opened in 2010, but looks worn out enough to be from 1981. Most of the pictures are faded beyond recognition. From the top there is a great view of the bay and the town of Bacolod. The view alone is worth the p20 "donation" to enter.

One of the iconic locations in Bacolod City. Build to commemorate the late Pope John Paul II visit to Bacolod City last February 20, 1981. It is 7 stories high with great view on the apex floor. An ultimate experience as well upon reaching the last floor like reaching heaven. I had a great experience here all the time. This landmark symbolizes the visit of our former Pope and now a Saint (Pope John Paul II) as his Statue & a Tower Building was erected in between across the road of the North & South Wing of SM City Bacolod (Reclamation Area) in Bacolod City. The former Pope visited Bacolod City way back 1980 when the reclamation area was then yet being established and so the owner of the area erected said structure in commemoration of the visit of the Pope in Bacolod City where in at the Tower where picture frames of the Pope when he visited Bacolod City way back then as a historic mark in Bacolod City.

Come here to have a nice view over the city. In the tower are also interesting things to see from the visit of pope John Paul II.

8 floors of increasing levels of self-awareness - that you're not as young as you used to be! But once you have arrived at the top you may gaze upon the bay to the east - or the ugly roof top of SM mall to the west. Great experience - great exercise for 40p

Pope John Paul II Tower is a 7-story building near SM City Bacolod. This is in commemoration of the late pope’s visit to Bacolod in February 1981. There was a huge statue of Pope John II before the main entrance. Religious items and souvenirs are found in the ground floor. I did not go to the 7th floor because I was tired from the humid weather.
