Living in moalboal cebu there is no other choice then to buy in Gaisano😁
If friends come to your house and see something new then they will tell you the price, not where you bought it.
The stores have a bit of everything but don't expect any quality,There are tons of people working in Gaisano but don,t ask questions, they will no know.
The most frustrating part is getting rid of your money,Not seldom you will spend half an hour or more doing that, even if there are 3-4 girls working in one checking counter.
Managers or in-charged are the worse, never to been found or at lunch.
I,m getting used to it, sometimes i just leave my shopping cart in the supermarket and give up or try later.
If items are damaged or broken they still expect you to pay the same price.
The frustration goes on and on, most of their workers are very friendly an polite but again there is no such thing as good training.
Often i hear " no stock sir" but they just don,t understand what you are looking for 😁

It is summertime here in Cebu and Gaisano has no working a?c for the supermarket. Why don't they close sections of the supermarket off and renovate it? It needs all new tile and new paint. I had to wait in line for over 25 minutes today to check out.

The man at the baggage counter (2nd fl. at dept store) really drives my blood up to my head. Omy god! We asked where we can put our garbage. He even told us to eat our zagu cup. How come?! He's so rude!

Probably the worst Mall in Mactan. Half of the mall is closed or has vacant outlets. I tried to get some Donuts from a Donut Shop at around 12.30pm and the staff member had gone on his lunch break! I came back an hour later and the staff put a sign up saying gone to CR. The same with Dim Sum store at the same time, gone on a lunch break.
Crazy. You would think they would have staff manning food outlets at one of the busiest times of the day LUNCH!
Tried finding somewhere to get a coffee and the mall has no coffee shops (no Starbucks, Bo's, or any other local chain). After wondering around for 20 mins I reluctantly gave up and settled for a mediocre bubble tea!
Oh, and good luck trying to find somewhere to sit down, no chairs or benches anywhere.
Crazy. You would think they would have staff manning food outlets at one of the busiest times of the day LUNCH!

I went to buy groceries and paid with my credit card (which I always do) and they refused to accept it because I forgot to bring my ID. I told them that it's rather absurd for them to ask for an ID when the signature should be enough for verification. I've been using my credit card when shopping from them ever since and it's just that now, I left my ID at home. It took me almost 30 minutes to negotiate which was all wasted time because they never conceded, even though I've shown them my credit card slips to prove that I am indeed the owner of my credit card. I told them that asking for an ID for credit card purchases is very insulting to the customer coz it's just like saying that the customer is a thief. And the more absurd thing is that they won't ask for an ID when we pay using debit card. As with a credit card, debit cards (with its PIN) can be stolen too, right? So if their primary concern is the customer then they should ask for an ID even for debit card payments. They told me that for debit card, it immediately withdraws from the bank. So it's like saying that they don't care that the card was stolen or not as long as they are paid.
What a waste of time and effort, not to mention my dignity.
SM and Ayala doesn't require IDs for credit card purchases. As far as I'm concerned, only Grand Mall does it.
Also, when you return an item for replacement, they'll have you going up and down to their manager to have forms signed which is a big hassle to the customer. They should be the one doing that! Really, very lousy customer service! Never shopping from this store again!

I wanna share my bad experience with Franzy Salon in Gaisano Island mall branch. I would suggest NOT go there. Yes it's cheaper there than other salon but their service is poor as well. I went there for foot spa service. When I approached the cashier, I asked her how long should I wait and how many are there in the waitlist then she said that it's my turn already since there's no waitlist and she instructed me to sit and wait. I waited for more 5 minutes then I approached one staff about whyy I’m still not being called, he said there’s no available manicurista and I need to wait for my turn. EEEEENGGG! 1st mistake, the cashier told me it’s already my turn but it’s not true. BUT STILL, I patiently waited for an available manicurista. After 30 minutes, There’s already an available manicurista, so I approached the cashier again. This time she said the manicurista is on 30 minutes break and there’s no other available manicurista who can attend to me. She clearly said that I really need to wait for the manicurista to be back from break because it will still take a long time for other customers to finish. Then I said, alright. I’ll just buy food since I’m hungry already and I will be back before 30 minutes. I even talked to the manicurista that I will be back right away and I also asked her how many minutes remaining before her break ends. So I bought Takoyaki and Zagu then I went back immediately to Franzy Salon. Approximately, I was gone for less than 10 minutes. When I came back, a manicurista already assisted the next customer on the list ( meaning the customer listed next to me). They said, they called my name and I wasnt there so they attended the next customer. I calmly replied I went back right away even if you said 30 minutes then suprisingly the staff said “DILI RAMAN KANI ANG ISA KA SALON MAM. NAA MAI PIKAS. ADTO NLNG KA DDTO”.
Considering the time I WASTED WAITING and I PATIENTLY WAITED FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES then he will just tell me to go to another salon? What the heck! Do you guys understand what I’m feeling? I’m not a patient person in terms of queue but earlier I waited PATIENTLY.
Then I said, Okay. You are losing customers because of this while waiting outside. I went to Beaty and Wellness Spa & Salon. They acomodated me well. The staff are courteous and friendly. I should have not wasted my time in Franzy. I was actually planning to file a compliant but I was in hurry going home so I didnt do it. But I am telling the whole world NOT TO TRY their service so that you will not experience the same thing. I experienced a LOT of bad service from Franzy but this one is the WORST! I will NEVER EVER go back there.

The mall has no bookstore. The comfort rooms are dirty. The 3rd flr. got a very big name "Food Court" but it looks deserted. The super market is always out of stock, one time I asked their staff if they have the thing that we are looking for he just said "I'm not sure if we still have it on stock just check it on that isle." And in the department store, it is still early but most of the sales lady seems lazy, tired, slow and just looking at the customer eventhough they know they need assistance. And most of all when you got caught 1 hr or 30 minutes before their supermarket will close, the cashier will hurriedly put the blue sign in front that they are closing already, there are times when we will line on the still open cashier then suddenly she will put the blue sign so we will move to other open counter then after a few minutes of waiting on the line suddenly the blue sign shows up again so we moved again, this time I am furious so I line my cart at the so-called open counter then I approached the cashier and I asked if she will be closing also and better tell me right now or I will really talk to their manager about this matter if she suddenly close too. OMG, they are so rude and no consideration to customers.

The upper level food court is disappointing. The third level has very few stores. The supermarket is usually "out of stock" of the items I went there to purchase. I avoid this mall.

Out of all the malls that I have visited, this place just sucks, they might as well be a regular market place if they keep this kind of reputation... The air conditioners are not functional, escalators are damaged and has taken forever to repair, the people working in this place are unfriendly, the management is lazy, the lack of manpower is infuriating, the floors are unpolished, security is lax, and the people here are just so annoying to look at... They don't care if you are there or not, they'll talk to their hearts content unless you raise your voice to get their attention. Even the HR personnel are horrible, I don't care if your displeased or not, but come on! You are scolding your employees in front of customers, no wonder their morale is so low and no one wants to continue working in your company! You're already yelling at them! Do you really have to humiliate them in front of other people!? Also, forget your excuse of having no man power! You yourself are the ones to blame why no one wants to work for you! It's clear as day! You only care for the cash that you receive from us customers, you don't consider the well being of both your customers and your employees. I hate this place

I am always here 1 day ahead when I am arriving or departing from Mactan Airport. Has the ever present Jolibee for simple yet sufficiently nice deals & snacks & I always buy my prepaid card or top up in this mall. This is also where I go whenever i'm somehow short of some nice singlets, t-shirts or bermudas.. I changed the wrist strap for my watch as well so I basically treat this place like my neighbourhood mall back home...

Honestly, I do not think so. But we were there for the shopping experience. Plus we got as far as the second storey. We didn’t have time for the upper floors. Sorry if I couldn’t be of much help
