Christmas Getaway 2016

Very old church just in front of the plaza. The location is excellent which is just on the center of the city. The problem is the parking space.

In greeting the new year, One must pay homage to the Lord and thank him for the year that was and for the succeeding years to come. This is a very important historical landmark since this was one of the few structures made in the 18th century and is still up and restored. Hearing mass for the Roman Catholics can... More

This is the place to go to a mass if you are in San Fernando. The church is big enough to house a large number of guests. It is right in front of the plaza and there are parking spaces around it. They have masses here in English, Filipino and Ilocano, so check in advance before going. =) The church... More

Next stop was Cathedral of St. William the Hermit in San Fernando La Union. And we actually stayed for the 5pm English Mass. It is one of those old churches which underwent a repainting job. Nevertheless, it was well-maintained and you can definitely feel the ancestral church ambience. I was very happy and really got to have a good quality... More

I was here for a christening, the church is nice and plain, no over the top like a lot of churches can be, hopefully meaning the money is spent on the people and not the building. Nice service and seems to be a popular church. Easy location to get to, being in the city plaza
