Worth Visiting

This review is quite late. Visiting Camp John Hay will also give you a chance to spend some time at the Butterfly Farm. Worth a few hours and loads of snapshots.

Kuya there is very very nice and he is very enthusiastic about the butterflies. He gives lecture about the butterflies and hopefully he can have some government support so that he will be able to take care of more butterflies and maintain the sanctuary of the beautiful creatures.

I think the number of butterflies won't take all the fingers from both my hands to count. Plus, the ones that we did see look all tired and worn out almost as if their wings are about to fall apart. In my opinion, people shouldn't be allowed inside and there should be more butterflies in there. It is about preserving... More

There is nothing to see. The entrance fee is not worth to visit a small greenhouse with couple of butterflies.

its not pricey but i expected to see different kinds of butterflies and take pictures of butterflies landing on our heads as they did in 2008. But this time, there were no butterflies. We were told they were sleeping as the weather was cold. so we just had a mini lecture about butterflies. Maybe they should close the farm when... More

If this is the one in Camp John Hay, a waste of money, time and pathetic. Just one or 2 varieties of butterfly in a small place. The guy who runs the place talks too much.

OK, there were TWO butterflies at this exhibit,, but,, that is All! Do NOT Go,,! Totally misrepresented, we asked where the butterflies were at and the man said something about the weather... Seems that an exhibit could preserve the butterflies..

We went to the Butterfly Sanctuary in Camp John Hay on the fourth day of our 4D/3N Baguio stay in January 2014. During our stay, we went to Mines View Park, Good Shepherd, Strawberry Farm, Easter Weaving Room, BenCab Museum, Lion’s Head, PMA, Botanical Garden, The Mansion, Burnham Park, Camp John Hay, and Baguio Public Market. (see separate reviews) Entrance... More

The P50 entrance fee is soo not worth it. This place is not even worth visiting! The garden was very small with very few butterflies. There was even an area for cut wilting flowers in vases with dead butterflies on top. It's a pathetic place. Not worth the time.

Expected to enjoy the view & learn about butterflies, unfortunately the guide is more focused on "picture" taking (just for facebook purposes which is lame & a bummer). Not worth it. I feel bad for the butterflies.
