We visited here at the end of the holiday as it is very close to the airport, stunning butterflies up close and great photo opportunities. Small but beautifully run and inexpensive.

It seemed that the stop here was only about killing some time before the flight. The facility was large and there were several species. It was self guided with no staff interaction.

A quick stop before you head home. You will be swarmed by an array of butterflies and beautiful flowers. There is bar and clean restrooms. You will have time before your flight - trust me

Lots of colourful butterflies. We would have been dazzled by the array of butterflies here had we not been to Iguazu Falls days earlier -- where we saw hundreds of butterflies out in the open. Still it was a treat to see a wide spectrum of colourful butterflies.

Even though we had just come back from 6 full days in the jungle and saw many butterflies, this was a fabulous expreince for me. I do love butterflies very much and this was just amazing - there are literally hundreds of butterflies here - with spectacular colors. They sit on you and you are free to be inside as... More

This facility has host plants for a large variety of butterflies of many colors, large blue with spots, large brown with a large spot, small orange, so may plants and butterflies, it boggles the mind.

This place is close to the airport and easy to get to from your hotel by taxis for about 8 soles. The area is in the open and well laid out with lots of flowering plants, a small stream and bridge. There are butterflies everywhere and some do indeed land on you. If you go early morning then the butterflies... More
