This is located in a rare Equatorial DRY Forest. One of the few remaining in the World so interesting in itself. There were 32 pyramids found here and a few have been excavated. The views and the pyramid itself are very interesting and impressive. You need a guide to go here.

We visited here in combination with the Sican Museum. We started here and went out to the site of the three main pyramids where we got to explore the archeological site where they discovered the burials we would see in the Sican Museum. First we saw the 350 year old tree in the dry forest, then we climbed up a small hill to view the pyramids which are on the other side of the river. Since I am travelling in Peru it has been the greatest adventure! On super comfortable peruvian Paso Horses did ride through the Pomac Forest (Natural reserv) where there is lots of birdlife.
