Due to the name, i was expecting some old colonial buildings . Nevertheless, it was a pleasant walk, with corners dedicated to different immigrants communities. just lucky it was a national day, so there was a plus with Paraguay flags embellishing it.
This plaza de armas is a perfect place to relax in the middle of the city. There are plenty of benches and shade on the sunny days.
The abundance of greenery makes it a very peaceful and pleasant place.
