Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Yes the goods inside are nice and by south american standards it would be worth buying them to take back to Brazil for example. But if you are European or from North America , you are not really going to save that much compared to duty free and you will have to carry the stuff a long way home. Besides the selection of whiskies really wasn't as wide as airports in Europe

Just see the shop as a break from the crowds in a nice air conditioned environment away from the hassle of the street traders.

Visit as a curiosity

nice modern shopping center, good range of shops, such a shame it's in such a dangerous area. Even locals kept looking behind them. didn't feel safe. Visit with care.

People have a bad impression on Ciudad del Este from TV. Yes, the streets look ugly and dangerous. But the shopping malls are very good, also very clean and safe. Shopping Paris is comparable to any top-standard mall in a big Brazilian or US city. One can buy origin-guaranteed goods there. All shops accept Reais in cash; Brazilians don't have to worry about rushing to exchange to local currency. In addition, staff is bilingual (Portuguese/Spanish, not to mention the local Guarani language) and very friendly.

Admittedly, a Shopping Mall our my idea of hell, so this one didn't really stand a chance, and as it was Sunday, and everything else seemed closed, I had little other choice on a lightening quick trip to Paraguay from Foz do Iguacu, on the other side of the Pirana, river in Brazil.

The ghastly Paris Shopping Mall is just over the Friendship Bridge, it's entrance flanked by ridiculous manequins of the British Royal Guard, among others. You can buy ANYTHING here - I saw 'US army' rifles and Turkish hookah pipes during my short 25 minute stay. I opted for a couple of bottles of nice Argentinian Malbec wine, which the staff very helpfully wrapped in bubble wrap for my long trip back to England the next day. Would I visit this ,all again? Probably not, but then again, I do hate shopping malls!

Very great option to shopping in CDE, you can find everything in the same place. Prices are good, better than Argentina 's Dutty Free! Place is beautiful an safe. It has an 3D Museum inside and a Snow Park!

Shopping Paris is probably the nicest mall in town. Not the cheapest, but the fanciest.

It has great variety of shops and even a few coffee shops.

Free and covered parking place for your car.
Nice mall, full of beautiful stores and services.
Sharing the same building is the China Mall, with lots of departments for almost every kind of products like cloths (famous brands), wines and beverages, motorcycle apparels, electronics (all kind), food, toys, etc...

This four-floor mall is a new sensation in Ciudad del Este. Located only 300 m from the customhouse, you can easily park your car for free in this all glazed beautiful building. There are many shops to be settled in the mall, but some must-to-go attractions are: shopping China (3rd. floor), 3D museum (2nd. floor) and Snow Park (4th. floor). Almost everything can be found in one place: the shopping China, but the price is similar to most malls like Sax or Monalisa. Top brands are not available, so don't expect luxury, only the usual: beverages, perfumes, clothes, electronics and foods. The staff still needs more training, otherwise be prepared for long queues for leaving the shop. A disadvantage is lack of good place to have your meal. The 3D museum is the must-to-visit attraction: very inovative and well designed. I could not visit the snow park, but you can easily find other entertainment for children there. Even not fully finisihed, all this structure, worth visiting the Shopping Paris.
