We arranged a trip to the San Blas Islands with a Captain. First of all, you need to drive through the mountains. Leave at 6. It's only 70km from Panama City, but the last 30km take 1.5 hours; it's a rollercoaster through the mountains. Don't...More

The island itself isn't anything different from most of the other San Blas islands. What is notable is that there is a shipwreck right off of the main beach that makes for a fairly cool snorkeling site.

Thanks to a dear local friend (who arranged this tour for us) we were able to visit a couple of islands of this 365 archipelago (one for each day a year!). Tours to these islands cost about $150.00 or more for a foreigner just a...More

This is more of a review of the San Blas island: Just go there! Yes it is expensive, but its worth your money. There are plenty of tour operators how take you there for either a day trip (too short) or 1, 2 or 3...More

We just had a short stop for snorkeling here. It's generally great in that area. Island Perro had a sunken ship that can be discovered. There are a lot of tourists, I believe everyone who stays in one of the islands of the area once...More

We just spent a few hours there, but the snorkelling in a sunken boat was just great; an array of colorful fish and even some eels! Wonderful.

The island is absolutely amazing! Beautiful beaches, very clean, friendly staff: a paradise for those who love snorkeling! I counted more than 50 different kinds of fish swimming around the shipwreck, and the reef was stunning. We spent a wonderful afternoon at Isla Perro, I...More

Beautiful like all San Blas, paradise style beach with clear water, great views of the islands around (perfect for pictures). There is ship wreck like 20 meters off the island where you can do some snorkelling and see colour fishes. It's possible to bug drinks...More

This island was simply the best. Getting out of the boat and walking around in the ocean playing w starfish was amazing. I can't swim so this was extra special.

I wouldn't want to stay here since it is very small and lots of tourists come on daytrips (including me!) and thus it's not very peaceful during the day. However, it has the best snorkeling given the shallow shipwreck about 30ft away from the island....More

Hello! Summer begins "officially" in January, but honestly: the sun is already burning like crazy in November. As well, this island is a bit far out, so the wind pushes the rain inland and you have a sunny sky while it... More
