This port offers a small suprise with a small zoo after getting off the ship. There are small monkeys, pink flamingos and great butterflies to see. There is also the manadatory shops which are interesting.

Cruise ship stores with tourist trinkets. Most stores have same items. Grocery store with ATM on site.

The least impressive stop of the 15 cruises we have been on .Good points first. A few nice staff in building ,wifi can be bought ,duty free shop, plenty of seats and toilets. Outside the building changes ..pothole roads,derelict buildings poor pavements .Our Marella cruise...More

There is some shady and unsafe areas in Colon, so basically my title says all about this small(ish) shopping area. We had some nice last minute souvenirs from Panama Hat to handmade scarf and hot sauce, so something to remember afterwards.More
