As a current traveler I 100% recommend this "sendero". The views are stunning and the sounds of nature make it an adventure worth the time! Also, the guide told us you can even get to see quetzals in the trees!! Absolutely amazing.

sorry but we can't find their card.....we booked a nice married couple recommended by the hotel, casa grande bambito. Carolina at the front desk is very helpful and perhaps can help you. enjoy the trek.....

No, it's not necessary. Maybe in the past it was different but now the trail can be seen really easily. We did it in december.
